Anniversary Giveaway!

By
Facebook Twitter Plusone Pinterest Linkedin Stumbleupon Email

It’s our fourth anniversary!  To celebrate, we are having our biggest sale of the year and giving away one One-Year Package to the Menu Mailer and Recipe Archive, a $99.99 value!

The Menu Mailer

The Menu Mailer covers five dinners (including side dishes), one breakfast and one dessert every week. It contains a full menu, shopping list, a preparation plan, and serving suggestions for each meal. Tips and information are included in every mailer as well. Ingredients are seasonal for the United States or Australia, your choice.

What makes the Cooking Traditional Foods menu mailer unique? A preparation schedule is included with every menu mailer. It reminds you when to thaw the meat, prep the crock-pot, or soak the grains. Because lack of planning is a major hurdle in getting healthy meals on the table, this schedule helps you make sure everything is done. It also contains blanks so you can write in your own reminders for breakfast, snacks and lunches.

The Cooking TF Menu Mailer has the option for every meal to be gluten and/or casein free, so those with food allergies or who are new to having to cook for someone with allergies do not have to convert the recipe. It also contains suggestions for gluten and casein free brands on each shopping list to assist those new to allergy cooking.

The Recipe Archive

The Recipe Archive is a compilation of all of the recipes that have been posted to Cooking Traditional Foods website and old blog. All recipes are labeled for gluten and casein content, so allergic users can see at a glance which recipes might work for them. There are currently over 500 recipes archived in this collection.

I’d like to win because I have four small children (all under 6yrs old) and I want to feed them well. Some have health problems that I thin can be remedied by eating this traditional foods diet. Between running the house, homeschooling, and loving on them (and my husband), the idea of planning ahead for all our meals seems daunting – but I really need a way to make it work for us!

    Hi KerryAnn,
I have been on the traditional foods journey for several years. But to be honest, I have only been consistent over the last 6 months. I am finally getting into the rhythm of making my roast dinner, setting off my stock, soaking flour and baking bread, making pro-biotic lemonade ect … every week rather than when I felt up to it (which was never!)
My favorite traditional food so far would be without a doubt ‘fermented lemonade’. Since my husband and I commenced drinking it twice a day, his sex drive has returned. This had been growing problem over many years and obviously nutrition was key to the solution of it. I understand that fermented foods are highly probiotic and for us this has made such a big difference to our lives.
I appreciate your blog/newsletters so much. Your encouragement has been a blessing as I have few friends who are like minded on these issues. It would be such a blessing to win a mailer, and learn how to put this all together, as my budget does not allow me to join at present.

  100. Rebecca says:

I would like to win because I haven’t had as much time to cook TF lately, and would like the organizational help. I’ve been doing TF for a few years officially, although I have been doing some of this for longer than that before knowing about WAP.

HI, I am new to traditional food eating. I am been searching online to find the basics on how to start. I’m just turned 47, have several health issues, and do beleive that most of them, if not all, are caused by not eating as I should for my body. My first grandchid is due in October and I want to be able to enjoy him when he gets here!! And to enjoy the rest of my years as well.
I would love to win this as I know it will be helpful on my journey.
