Giveaway: Menu Mailer and Recipe Archive Package
ByCTF has launched a Real Food Challenge and link up for bone broth information and recipes that runs through Valentine’s Day. Come join us!
I promised on the CTF Facebook page that I would do another big giveaway when we hit 4,000 fans. So here we are!
One winner of this giveaway will receive a 52-week subscription to both the Menu Mailer and the Recipe Archive. One runner-up will receive a 13-week subscription to the Menu Mailer.
The Menu Mailer
The Menu Mailer covers five dinners (including side dishes), one breakfast, one soup and one dessert every week. It contains a full menu, shopping list, a preparation plan and serving suggestions for each meal. Tips and information are included in every mailer. Ingredients are seasonal for the United States or Australia, your choice.
What makes the Cooking Traditional Foods menu mailer unique? A preparation schedule is included with every menu mailer. It reminds you when to thaw the meat, prep the crock-pot, or soak the grains. Because lack of planning is a major hurdle in getting healthy meals on the table, this schedule helps you make sure everything is done. It also contains blanks so you can write in your own reminders for breakfast, snacks and lunches.
The Cooking TF Menu Mailer has the option for every meal to be gluten and/or casein free, so those with food allergies or who are new to having to cook for someone with allergies do not have to convert the recipe. It also contains suggestions for gluten and casein free brands on each shopping list to assist those new to allergy cooking.
The Recipe Archive
The Recipe Archive is a compilation of all of the recipes that have been posted to Cooking Traditional Foods website and old blog. All recipes are labeled for gluten and casein content, so allergic users can see at a glance which recipes might work for them. There are currently over 500 recipes archived in this collection.

I would really like to win this giveaway, because I am learning to cook more traditonal foods for my family. This giveaway could be INVALUABLE to me! Thank you!
I subscribe to your rss feed too! It’s on my google homepage!
I also recieve your newsletter through email! Thanks again!!!
I need to win this because we are relatively new to traditional foods (less than 6 months) and I’m at a loss on most days on what to have and sometimes how to prepare meals or how to incorporate fermented foods into our meal plan and well, tons of other stuff. I’m a former coupon queen, who bought loads of processed food for next to no money. Last winter, we ate a lot of Tyson or Hormel pre-cooked roasts, Betty Crocker instant potatoes and microwave in the bag veggies. Now, since I’m buying real food, I’m finding that it is taking up quite a bit of our budget, leaving little for extras – like a subscription to the menu mailer.

I’ve been in a food rut for the longest time, probably because my previous subscriptions have run out!
Gosh, I can’t remember how long I’ve been doing Traditional style foods, probably around 5 years. I think that my favorite dish would have to be the Moroccan beef with all those spices, so worth the effort!

I thought the black bean brownie recipe looked crazy, but gave it a try. They were great! I would love more kid & husband approved traditional recipes.
Blogged about it here: http://seksbuyingclub.wordpress.com/2011/10/19/cooking-traditional-foods/
I want to win to help me motivate and organize this full-time working outside the home mother of two schedule I am juggling. I want to share a recipe (uses bone broth) … got it from Donna Gates… 2 yellow onions sautéed in coconut oil, 2 packs of fresh asperagus cut off tops and save, cut rest in 1″ sections and boil in broth (2C) with onion for about 25 minutes, cool a bit, blend, add tops and 1tsp of sea salt and cook another 15 minutes.
