Here are a variety of resources to help you on your traditional foods journey. We only recommend companies we personally use. We do not recommend any company we do not personally shop with or a company that has given us poor customer service.
Food
- Green PolkaDot Box sells a wide range of food, personal care and more. This is where I buy most of my staples and dry goods. They will soon begin to ship regional, organic produce and refrigerated/frozen items, too. Their prices beat any other online or local source I have found. The cost savings more than makes up for the yearly membership fee, plus you get free shipping and the convenience of having FedEx deliver it all instead of me having to spend time to go buy it and lug it home. It’s a win-win.
- Beyond Organic sells raw cheese, the best ground beef I have ever tried, cultured/probiotic dairy and more. Their raw havarti and Amasai are amazing and my kids are hooked on the Raspberry Lemonade Suero Viv.
- Cultures for Health sells water and dairy kefir grains, yogurt starters, kombucha scobies and much more.
- Tropical Traditions sells coconut oil, coconut flour, shredded coconut and much more. I purchase 5-gallon buckets of expeller-pressed coconut oil from them. I have also enjoyed their 100% grass-fed bison and beef.
- Vital Choice Seafood for salmon.
- US Wellness Meats carries a wide variety of meat products, organ meat, raw dairy, pemmican, sausages, hot dogs, nitrate-free bacon, liverwurst and much more.
- La Cense Beef carries 100% grass fed but not certified organic beef.
Personal Care and Supplements
- Green PolkaDot Box carries many personal care items. I purchase most of the personal care I do not make at home from them.
- Afterglow Cosmetics is where I purchase my mineral make-up. I love their concealer, lipstick and foundation, and I use some of their eye shadow as well.

- Mountain Rose Herbs carries a wide variety of spices, herbs, essential oils, soap and personal care product making supplies, ready-made personal care and more.
- Bloodroot is the company I order my Lugol’s Iodine from.
Education
- Herbmentor.com is where I subscribe to Learning Herbs and purchased the Wildcraft board game for my kids.
Homeschool
